Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Pixelvise AEO Scanner at aeo.pixelvise.com (the “Service”), operated by Pixelvise (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

The AEO Scanner is a free automated tool that analyzes public websites for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) readiness. It evaluates factors across four categories:

  • Findable: Whether AI crawlers can access and index your site
  • Quotable: How easily AI models can extract and cite your content
  • Understandable: Clarity of semantic structure and content hierarchy
  • Trustworthy: Signals of authority and credibility

Results are algorithmic estimates based on observable signals, not guarantees of actual search engine or AI model behavior.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Submit URLs you do not own or have permission to analyze
  • Use the Service to scan websites in violation of their terms or applicable law
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities
  • Use automated scripts to submit requests at excessive rates
  • Reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit reports without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content via the form fields

3. Accuracy & Limitations

While we strive to provide useful and accurate analysis, the Service is provided “as-is” and:

  • Results are algorithmic and may not reflect real-world AI model ranking
  • We cannot guarantee specific AEO outcomes or improvements to your site
  • Reports are informational only and should not be taken as professional consulting advice
  • Scanning behaviors of major AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.) change frequently

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, algorithms, brand, logos, text, and software, is owned by Pixelvise and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your own website content scanned via the Service.

Generated reports are licensed to you for your own business use. You may share score images on social media or with your team. Bulk redistribution or commercial resale is prohibited without written permission.

5. User Submissions

By submitting information (URL, contact details, notes) through the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that data to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the authority to submit such information.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXELVISE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Warranties regarding uptime, availability, or uninterrupted access
  • Warranties that results will be accurate, reliable, or complete
  • Warranties that the Service will meet your specific requirements

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXELVISE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pixelvise, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

9. Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., Cloudflare, analytics providers, social sharing APIs). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party behavior, downtime, or data practices.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of West Bengal, India. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where reasonable. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
